                About the LDTS school

The DTS (Discipleship Training School) is a five-month-long school that aims to prepare students for a life of knowing God, serving God, and talking about God. The main idea of the school is “empowerment.”  Our goal is that you will develop a deeper relationship with God, learn a skill in the logistics industry, start your own business, and make more disciples in the marketplace while keeping God first as you step out in faith and obedience.

During the LDTS, students will learn more about the nature and character of God. They will also be challenged to discover their true identity in Christ, understand God's unique design for their lives, and learn how they can live out their faith in the context of a vibrant community and later transition into the marketplace. Students from all around Nigeria and Africa are welcome. International students needing a Visa to attend the school are also welcome!

Get equipped to bring Biblical counseling to a hurting world

                       About The FCM School

Foundations for Counseling Ministry School (FCM) is a counseling course to learn the basic skills of active listening, belief systems, and hearing the voice of God. We see the connection of how beliefs impact our behaviors. We look at the roots of rejection and rebellion (Plumbline), family systems, attachment and bonding through developmental stages, trauma, human sexuality, and a variety of other counseling topics. All this is covered in a 12-week lecture phase. You'll have the option to attend an 8-week outreach. Besides receiving foundational counseling training, we want to challenge students to explore counseling ministry opportunities among specific people groups or nations, particular segments of society (children, youth, families, etc.), or in-need areas such as addictions. During this training, students can process their life journeys through assignments, one-on-ones, and small groups.

Personal Development

You'll grow in grace, relationships, identity, and self-awareness. These are keys in your journey to becoming a light to others.

Skill Development

You'll grow in personal interactions, active listening, Biblical belief renewal, prayer for healing, and intercession. These are the basics of a Biblical counseling ministry!

Cognitive Development

You'll work on defining counseling in the light of God’s character, the work of the Cross and the Holy Spirit, the believer’s identity in Christ, repentance and forgiveness, calling and gifts, stages of spiritual development, God’s intention for the personality, authority through intercession, cross-cultural counseling, and the role of the counselor in ministry.
