LOGISTICS DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL

The DTS (Discipleship Training School) is a five-month long school which aims to prepare students for a life of knowing God, serving God and telling about God. The main idea of the school is, “empowerment” Our goal is that you will develop a deeper relationship with God, learn a skill in the logistics industry, start your own business and make more disciples in the marketplace while keeping God first as you step out in faith and obedience.

During the LDTS, students will learn more on the nature and character of God. They will also be challenged to discover their true identity in Christ, understanding God's unique design for their lives, and learn how they can live out their faith in the context of a vibrant community and later transition into the marketplace. Students are welcomed from all around Nigeria and Africa. International students needing a Visa to attend the school are also welcomed!

The LDTS will be run at our Campus located in Lagos Nigeria. The school will be run in English. The LDTS will begin with a lecture phase that consists of 11 weeks of teaching/learning, followed by a 6-week local practical outreach in Calabar and Abuja, together 2-weeks back in Lagos State for debrieving and graduation!

COST

Lecture Phase

Students who enroll in the LDTS get their tuition fees ( Lectures, Books and course materials) paid by the BERDS Scholarship-however they are required to make a small contribution of N60,000, to supplement the cost of feeding & housing for 3 months. We have a boutique where students can shop for clean and second hand clothes for free!

Outreach Phase

N60,000 to cover cost of feeding, accommodation and transportation to and within outreach location for 2 months. (Possible Outreach Locations may include Calabar, Abuja or Ilorin).
