 In this policy plan, the board of Stichting Haven Of Treasures sets out the policy and aims to provide insight into which activities it wants to achieve. Our aim as a Christian, interdenominational foundation is to contribute to Spiritual well-being, Cultural exchange, education, access to Christian mental health care, and essential economic and social interventions among marginalized people.

Impact Focus

Spiritual Focus: We share the message of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ. We organize Individual prayer, Prayer in Business, evangelism, weekly worship celebrations, group Bible Study, Group prayer meetings, retreats, baptism ceremonies, Marriage and Pre-Marriage Courses, Pastoral Services, and deliverance services to move believers and their mission into maturity and alignment.

Intercultural Focus: We champion intercultural exchange and learning among individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our mission is to create an empowering ecosystem that connects and inspires collaboration, fosters authentic relationships, paves the way for leadership development, expands horizons, strengthens faith, and allows individuals to embrace new perspectives on life across cultures.

Mental Focus: We offer empowerment initiatives, including Pastoral Counseling, Coaching, Conferences, Training, Workshops, and Seminars to help create awareness so people can move past emotional blocks, break generational curses, heal from traumatic events, and learn and grow personally. 

Economic Focus: We support the training of people in marketplace ministry and provide opportunities for Job creation so that people from marginalized backgrounds in developing or underdeveloped nations can improve their lives and means of sustenance and still have the chance to use their business as a ministry outpost to share the love of God.

​Social Focus: We help Orphans, Widows, Victims of Persecution, Street Kids, Prostitutes, Refugees, Prisoners, and people in daring circumstances with Practical and diaconal support like food distribution, clothing, Flea Market, and hospitality where needed

 

 

Our Objectives: - 

 

1. Responding to people's Spiritual, mental, economic, and social needs in the broadest sense of the word with diaconal activities and pastoral care.

2. Providing a safe place for people who suffer and go through life without the hope of healing, growing, and thriving. This means providing support that helps them overcome, forgive, heal emotional wounds, find all forms of abuse, hope, and real value, grow personally, forge healthy bonds, and thrive in ways they might never have imagined.

3. Providing Membercare for Christians, Pastors, Missionaries, and their organizations 

4. Supporting marginalized people and Victims of persecution and discrimination who are financially or socially disadvantaged by providing skills training, material and financial assistance, Flea Market, and emotional and spiritual aid. 

 

 Activities to achieve the stated goals.

 

1. Organizing periodic meetings for people to share about the love of God and stimulate a multicultural community that fosters diversity, care, and inclusion. 

2. Organization of missionary and evangelistic activities and events such as:

 

•  Going on missions to different cities, towns, and villages to share God's love and offer hope.

 

• Organizing, Attending, speaking, and facilitating training, conferences, seminars, workshops, concerts, and talk shows to show and share the love of God and offer hope 

 

•  Consulting with Christian organizations with similar objectives 

 

  3. Organizing Diaconal and pastoral care activities, such as: 

 

•  Visiting sex workers, homeless people, and  refugees to provide emotional support

• Collaborate with various social and Christian relief projects with similar objectives.

•  Christian counseling, coaching, mentoring, debriefing, and spiritual care to individuals and groups that approach us with a desire to heal, grow, and flourish

• Diaconal Support for people who have no means of livelihood and Skill discipleship training for unemployed youth through the establishment of educational facilities, Flea Market, hospitality for Orphans, and the establishment of food and clothing Bank

• Collaborate with various social and Christian aid projects and other organizations with similar goals.

 

Organizational Structure

1. The board consists of a chairman, a treasurer, a secretary, and one board member.

2. Activities:
    

   • They perform the following foundation activities: These consist of:

   • Contacts with Collaborating Organizations

   • Planning and facilitating Fundraising activities

   • Organizing gatherings, Conferences, retreats, workshops, and evangelistic activities

   • Monitoring the operational state of affairs and Financial reporting

3. The foundation's funds: The Foundation raises funds through sponsorship, donations, gifts, subsidies, contributions, and fundraising activities. This is done personally through personal contacts, individual conversations, letters, emails, telephone, and social media. Individuals and companies/organizations can contribute financially to a particular project or allow the Foundation to choose the project goal.

4. Assets: Assets are spent on the objectives of Stichting Haven Of Treasures. The foundation does not aim to make a profit. The foundation will only hold assets necessary for the continuity and expansion of its objective.

5. Cash: Cash is only held in a current account for daily diaconal activities. Long-term obligations are taken into account when determining the money to be expended.

6. Policy plan: The foundation aims to respond to the grim reality of spiritual, mental, and material poverty. We pay great attention to organizations' financing skills and discipleship training schools to create employment opportunities in remote areas. Great emphasis is placed on the social aspect of our work, such as establishing educational facilities, Providing schooling and Hospitality for Orphans, and establishing a Logistics hub for food and clothing distribution for poor people and Christians fleeing persecution.

7. Employees: The Stichting Haven Of Treasures has no paid employees. The board members and volunteers carry out activities and will continue to use volunteers for support.

8. Remuneration policy: No salaries are paid for work performed; however, costs incurred in operating activities are reimbursed.

9. ANBI: The requirements of the ANBI (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) were considered when drawing up this policy plan. Organizations and individuals can deduct donations from taxes, and the foundation is exempt from paying taxes on contributions and gifts.
