Seeds of Joy Children Ministry (0-12years)

Our goal is to stimulate young children into self-discovery. We hope to build their confidence and self-power through creativity. We have crafts, stories, drama, choreography programs, etc., that engage them positively. We wish to empower them to balance their personal development with a deep sense of joy and peace.

 

Sparkle of Hope Youth Ministry: (13-21 years)

Nowadays, the breaking down of the typical support system of the youth, such as family structures, religious institutions, economic empowerment systems, and community, has resulted in a high rate of anxiety, self-harm, depression, and suicide among the youth. The increasing rate of divorce, single parenthood, teenage pregnancy, passivity on spiritual education, and discrimination contribute to the youth feeling powerless because they lack the experience in coping with the pressure to live as active members of society.

 

Our instant modernization has taken over the platform to express their creativity.  Most youth feel compelled by society to live up to the standards that are continuously evolving. This has left many youths frustrated, vulnerable, and confused about their identity and value. Consequently, Many are turning to violence, drug abuse, eating disorders, gang involvement, prostitution, etc., for emotional, physical, and mental functioning. There is an urgent need for other systematic support programs to provide the balance necessary for the youth to take off and soar.

To educate and empower the youth to reach for their maximum potential

We provide a well-balanced approach to their personal, social, spiritual, and emotional development through teaching, coaching, mentoring, and exposure to resources that will enhance their creativity and drive for innovation. We collaborate with schools, universities, businesses, churches, and community centers for resources to ensure the youth are fully supported.

Objectives

​

1. To empower the youth to reinvent their cognitive ability to boost self-worth and resilience and  become responsible and contributing members of society

2. To provide career guidance emphasizing potentials that will positively influence their perception of leadership and practical life skills.

3. To promote solid moral values where spiritual education is considered in its meaningfulness and a pathway to self-discovery

4. To create a sustainable lifelong learning center with a library space rich in resources and available to young people, Tutors, and mentors to enhance their various abilities.

5. To engage the youth in physical activities and educate them on wellness and vitality as necessary conditions for a balanced and healthy life

6. To establish a strong network of support with schools,` Businesses, and Churches that encourages social interactions in society, community involvement, and philosophical and cultural discussion to enhance workability and professionalism

7. To Launch a series of fundraising activities that will be channeled towards training programs for Mentors and tutors and for the expanding program and curriculum.

Our Classes

​

1. Inner-gold:  A weekly program based on personal leadership for youths seeking a particular career path in projects that may fill their educational, work, or budgetary needs. The program aims to unlock passion and boost self-esteem, self-management, and resilience.

2. Fit to Soar: A weekly program that maintains high physical functioning, eating habits and energy focus, aqua fitness, dance and Drama projects, choreography, self-defense, and general workout sessions.

3. Hidden Pearls:  A weekly event on soul search, faith, and spirituality. It aims to promote strong moral values, ignite passion for life, and make room for transformation where necessary. It also involves a get-together diner with 1+ Role models who tell their Stories.

4. Solid Ground. A Monthly project where the youth can learn or develop a skill in Ministry alongside their educational pursuit. They are paired with ministries where they work as interns and volunteers and support the adults where necessary.
